Landscape Adventure Sessions

Free outdoor education sessions will be running in Eday, Rousay, Sanday, Shapinsay & Stronsay at the start of the summer holidays this year (2023).

For 8 - 18 year olds

Numbers are limited so booking is essential

The North Isles Landscape Partnership is working with qualified outdoor education instructors to deliver a range of activities for children aged 8 - 18 across the North Isles:

SANDAY: Friday 30 June (9.30 - 4.30)

EDAY: Monday 3 July (10:15 - 4.30)

STRONSAY: Tuesday 4 July (9.30 - 4.30)

SHAPINSAY: Wednesday 5 July (9.30-3.30)

ROUSAY: Thursday 6 July (9.30 - 4.30)

Activities on offer include: raft building; stand-up paddleboarding; kayaking; archery & bushcraft. They are all weather and tide dependent so please bear in mind they may be subject to change, and if demand is high we may only be able to offer half day sessions.

The instructors will be accompanied by local landscape guides to help provide information on cultural and natural heritage which the group might see during the activity sessions.

Spaces are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
